Which exhaust fans?

EpicCrumbCake

Static pressure is more suitable for heatsinks and radiators to cool the component and airflow for the case, Linus had a good video about it.

But, exhaust fans are mounted on a Grid. Does this create unnessesary airflow turbulence that reduce the efficiency? Or is this a missconception and Airflow-optimized fans are perfect for this job?

I plan to use Corsair AF/SP-Fans (Quiet Edition), they look cool and according to ncix and ltt videos they´re good. Of course, Noctua is great in cooling, but I want cool looking fans (black)

What do you think and/or are there other very quiet fans you can recommend?

Yes, the grid inhibits performance. How much depends on the type of grid/mesh used.

Also,

SilentWings 2

AF140 quiet for the looks and it's not that bad (the rest is shit IMO for other than looks)

TwisterPressure

Cougar Vortex PWM

NB E-Loop and BlackSilentPro

Gentle Typhoons

Noctuas?

Maybe

But I don't like them and I think they're overrated

1.They look like shit

2.There are better fans

3.So much fanboys liking them for "being the best omg!1"

Well, now I don't know if I'm responding to OP or you

I agree with that Noctua thing. They may be good, but I don´t want to see them

The SilentWings 2 sounds interesting

It´s like the grid of the Fractal Design Node 804 on the rear.

That type of grid doesn't inhibit much airflow at all. You would be quite fine using airflow optimized fans.

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?
