China is trying to do a country wide pishing

I have found multiple post saying that the government of china have blocked icloud.com and it is redirecting to a fake look a like website to harvest information.

 

 

 

According to a report from GreatFire.org, a website that focuses on privacy matters, China has secretly started collecting iCloud data through what's known as a "man-in-the-middle" intrusion; basically, the attacker eavesdrops by independently connecting to the user and making it seem as if it's a private connection, when, in fact, it isn't.

China got its first official shipments of new iPhones last week, but a new report from web censorship watchdog Great Fire indicates Chinese users may be facing an unpleasant surprise when they try to connect to Apple services at large. As of last night, the Chinese firewall is blocking all local connections to iCloud.com, redirecting those connections to a dummy site designed to look exactly like Apple's login page.

This is ridiculous. 

 

Apple are legally selling their products in China, and by blocking access to iCloud.com and other services, they are prohibiting the proper functioning of their product. 

 

Apple should seek to sue.

China is also launching large scale DDOS attacks on a lot of people. Not sure what the point is, but I know it's affecting a lot of businesses.
