840 evo restoration problems on AMD

Hi Guys

 

Im running an amd 6800k 

 

i have the AMD sata controller installed and the restoration tool wont work. i followed the guide to uninstall the amd driver to revert back to the Microsoft driver and restarted, when my computer loads back up it has installed the amd driver again and i still cant use the restoration program??

 

Any help would be great as i am suffering from the slowdown

I have an AMD board it worked fine for me.

hmm i think i need to dig further

if i go and delete the drivers for the AMD in

system32\drivers\amdsata

and also uninstall them would this mean the computer wouldn't reload them during startup??

You either need the LATEST!!! amd ahci drivers, or get windows to use windows ahci drivers. It is clearly stated in the pdf they provide you with. But I also would like to know, if anyone is able to update this with amd hardware (I mean old one, the latest driver I get is from January 14)
