EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0

Go to solution Solved by JJR10,

I wanted to know this as well and emailed EVGA support.

They confirmed that the EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0 (part # 04G-P4-2981-KR) does use a reference PCB.

If you contacted EVGA or posted on their forum, you would get the 100% correct answer. For some reason PCB stuff is hard to find. I'm about 75% sure it does though.

Most likely yes. I doubt we're going to see custom PCBs for a while yet, I haven't seen anything about Classy/ROG/Lightning releases.

Could be wrong though, so yeah, check out the EVGA or GeForce forums.
