Live stream camera view OTG

Go to solution Solved by TheGrapeEscape,

Can u recommand other app that can stream to pc as well? my friend is hosting a ustream channel

Ustream has Android and Apple apps that allow you to broadcast from a mobile device:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.ustream.ustream

https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/ustream/id301520250?mt=8

If you do end up going out there to record the protest, don't take any unnecessary risks recording the demonstrations.

A large scale of Civil Disobedience Movement is happening in hongkong.

If i want to livestream my camera view OTG, what do i need to have?

I'd probably recommend going light and livestreaming from a mobile device. http://new.livestream.com/producer/mobile would work easily and quickly for you. You can couple it with a portable usb power pack for longer recording time.

Thanks so much.

I think that with that much people, cellular data would be congested.

There's also a chance that they'll start blocking cellular access in protest areas. Unfortunately in a situation like that it's very difficult to livestream. There's been talk of setting up a mesh network in protest areas, but that's outside the scope of what a single person can do. If someone does set up a mesh network with internet access that may be a more reliable way of delivering your livestream.
