MX Blue vs Razer Green

Its your opinion man, im just saying try them out. They are just blues but better.

Just how are Razer Greens better than Cherry Blues? Please explain.....I've tried both Razer Green and Orange, didn't feel that much different from Blue and Brown respectively. Only difference is, Cherry is high quality and known for reliability, can you say the same about Kailh? And yes, my opinion only, wouldn't want to soil my  collection with a Razer.....

Actually everything nowadays is made in China (or Thailand which quality is same as chinese). Don't go with "OMG They are made in China so poor quality". Almost everything is made in China and "builded" (constructed or whatever is the right word in English) in the other countries. But yeah I don't like that they went for unknown switches instead keep the good old MX switches (also in my country Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma is 190 euro which is insane for keyboard).

True but what people really care about is the type of switch and where they are manufactured :/

I actually have legitimate complaints that I can back up. Also other real reasons as to why I wont buy them they just break a few things that I dont think is right.

And that is your prerogative to do so, as long as you have experiences that's completely fine.  I was just being whiny about the people in this thread who hate on things for no particular reason.

Cherry switches are popular because they have been around forever. As long as people are happy with their purchase that's all that matter's.

Guys it's looks like AMD vs NVIDIA. NVIDIA have better reputation and their prices is bigger than AMD's. But AMD isn't that worse (even some of you will say better) than NVIDIA. That's just example of my logic.

I will go for NVIDIA tho, It's just in my style.

EDIT: That's just an example! Don't go for AMD vs NVIDIA fight. Kalih vs MX Chery switches is similar to AMD vs NVIDIA. That's the logic!

People has been saying that they don't last long, and quality isn't that strong compare to Cherry MX switches

-Were these the same people who were all like "I'll be buying the Corsair RGB keyboards"

-Then the keyboards dropped and those same people were all like "Fuck that logo, I'm buying the new Logitech one, because they're innovative by not using Cherry switches"

-So I think those people have opinions worth approximately zero

Is there any difference from going from blues to Razer greens?

I've only tested them in store, then ew Blackwidows that is. They seem to have less friction after the actuation, which is set a little bit lighter. So, I guess they feel a bit lighter and bottom out a bit easier

The switches are made in china, Don't touch it, Land of the cheap knock off.

As of 2009 ASUS had manufacturing facilities in Taiwan (Taipei, Luzhu, Nangan, Guishan), mainland China (Suzhou, Chongqing), Mexico (Ciudad Juárez) and the Czech Republic (Ostrava).

Hmmm, so I guess by that logic Asus is a cheap knock off

But yeah I don't like that they went for unknown switches instead keep the good old MX switches (also in my country Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma is 190 euro which is insane for keyboard).

If a company I'd been working with for several years, that I was relying on for parts, decided to give something exclusively to a competitor, then I'd be looking for an alternative as well. Cherry isn't exactly a company wearing a halo in all of this. Also, before you dive on the Chromas price, I'd say that at least here in Aus, it's roughly comparable to a K95 RGB ($20 difference) and that's comparing a retail store to the Razer store, which at least from what I understand generally has a stupid mark-up for no apparent reason

Razer wasnt working with cherry because they wanted to. They were working with them because they were the only real option. From my understanding Corsair basically paid for the development of the RGB cherry switch which would make sense why they got exclusivity.

And yes the razer Store is stupid especially when they always have it quite a bit beofre other places and the have some exclusive items, many of which I prefer over the normal ones.

I'm shocked no one has mentioned this but the RGB MX blue isnt out in dec, they are already released, the issue is tracking them down, most sites (including newegg.ca) have thrown 12/31/14 as their date because they simply dont know when they are going to be getting a hold of more, im shocked more people dont realize 12/31/XX isnt really ment to be taken literally, its more like a placeholder.

I have actually ordered my k70 RGB blue switches already, I think I missed the initial shipment of them, since I preordered but ya they are out there, and shouldn't be to long until they are in stock.

Yeah, according to one of the threads on OCN or Corsair's forum, Corsair supposedly shipped them out already, but Newegg and Amazon didn't receive them for some reason, at least for the K95s.

Some people might r**e me in the arse for saying this, but I have NO problems with the new BW 2014. I have it and I'm using it to type this response right now. The keys are less quieter than MX Blues (which I love because I like the feel and heaviness of blues, but not the sound). There is no problem ever since I got it. I personally love it. Hate me all you want, but it won't change my mind of getting a new keyboard.

I think you had gotten Razer Orange since you had said it's quieter than MX Blue. It should then be compared to MX Brown for a fair comparison (at least I think that was what you were trying to say) for the sound emitted. Likewise, Razer Green should be compared to MX Blue, both are clicky. Not doubting they feel good simply because they'd feel similar to their respective MX counterparts. Anyway, glad that you like the keyboard you had gotten.

I have the Razer Green. What I meant was that the Razer Greens are less loud than normal Cherry MX blues. My cousin has BW 2013 with blues and it is tremendously loud. Mine is clicky, but not to an extent that it gets annoying.

It's Khail made while they don't last as long they are used quite a lot now.

The poor quality thing is bull from my understanding. The keyboard is rated for 60 million clicks and I haven't seen anything about quality issues. Thinking about buying a razer black widow tournament edition because it is 60 right now on newegg.

If you really want it just go buy it. I just wont buy they on principal. I mean their charging you the same price for a cheaper, potentially worse, product.

Wel its inherant "problems" with the sensor which nearly every major brand used in at least one of their mice. And its no like the sensor broke or something happened to it, that's just how the sensor was.

Actually after I felt what the switches were like I bought the black widow tournament edition. It was only $60 that is definitely cheaper than any other mx cherry keyboard I know of.
