Pin Removal

PC-NOOB

I have heard that it is tough to get the pins out of the connector for the HX650.

I have heard some people just use a paperclip but others use a pin removal tool.

Which option should I do?

Also how much paracord do I need to buy for an itx build like in the prodigy?

Paper clip is fine.

No idea how much sleeving you will need though. I would guess about 30 - 50 feet though. Actually maybe more

If you plan to do a lot of custom length cables in general a pin tool is a good idea, but you can do it with paper clips, not too sure about the HX650 version but the clips should all be pretty much the same.

As for the amount for an ITX build approx 50-75ft is more than enough depending on the cable runs in the system.

So is that ~60 for all the cables total? How would it differ if I want 3 different colors? Just 20ft per color?

The best is to calculate the cable runs you will be doing taking into consideration the color pattern, take the length of each cable bundle and the number of cables with different colors. In general a good rule of thumb is to order an extra 10% or so to ensure you ahve enough for mistakes or any other little things you may want to sleeve.
