Using symlinks to make origin think my games are somewhere they arent

I want to have most of my origin games on my hard drive, but have bf3 and bf4 on my ssd.
Unfortunately Origin doesn't let you install games in two different directories.
I heard of something called a symlink and i want to try that, so origin thinks my games are on my hard drive, but actually have them on my ssd.

I followed some terribly written guides, and i got no where.
is anyone familiar with symlinks? Can you help me?
I can provide directories from either place if that will help.

mklink /j "c:\users\Will\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music" d:\Music\ - This line makes a symlink that redirects from the folder c:\users\Will\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music to the Music folder on my second hard drive. This type of use is especially handy if you have a small main hard drive and a larger secondary drive.
