Looks really great to me. Sure you can't squeeze a 280X in?

who cares...

It's decent but I think you should drop the SSD since you can get a tangible performance increase by dropping it. Give me a moment to try and improve this build

If I were you I would stretch the budget to £850 and that will give you quite a boost in performance. If you cannot stretch to it I suggest waiting with purchasing a pc as going from an R9 280 to an R9 290 will yield a massive performance difference.

If you do not want to hold off on buying a PC then I still recommend dropping the SSD and getting an MSI R9 280X.

Don't get a Zalman psu. If you don't mind non modular, then the Superflower Golden Green HX 550W is very good.

Once he gets to 1100mhz on a 280 then its faster than 280x

Have a bad day...

Hi there XxCJDJxX,

What are you going to be using this build for? If it's for gaming I would suggest you the WD Black HDD. This hard drive is designed for maximum computer performance and gaming, whereas the WD Blue is an everyday storage hard drive. You could check it out if you'd like.

Also, I agree with Koffehh, if you're going to overclock, better get a higher W PSU; otherwise, you already have a good cooler. If you're going to be also running some more demanding programs, you could look into a 256 GB SSD for a BOOT drive and the OS.

I think you'll be having a really nice build! :)

Cheers!

If you think I helped, like!  :P
