New Water Cooler

I know that this is a joke, but stay away from the H100i, it has a big problem with mounting and it is not working properly for everyone.

I've had mine for a year. Kept my 3570K cool. Have cleaned it three times, never had mounting issues. It's yer 1150 socket!

No, its an issue with motherboards and the mounting bracket of the H100i.  It doesn't work with all thickness of motherboards and as a result, the correct amount of contact and pressure isn't there.  I cannot recommend a product that works for some and not others.

Thanks for the advice! Fourtunately I've had the cooler for a while now and its been great! I actually took it out today to clean it and installed it the other way around so it's sucking air into the case. That way I can get cooler air over the rad. I also finally got around to doing a bit of overclocking and never got the 8350 over 60c.

I think the main reason I havn't had an issue with the mounting is cause I've Ive got the amd setup and therefore I don't have to go behind the motherboard with the bracket.

Right, that must be it.  I only ever see people complaining that have Intel systems.
