Intel My AMD?

Hey there everyone, I've been agonizing over this build list for a bit now, and I liked it, but then I started doing some deep review reading on people who've had their computers the longest. Long story short, AMD doesn't last as long as Intel, I've always known this and a s a precaution I waned to draw up an intel/nvidia version of my build, the only issue is, I only posses an overtly basic understanding and familiarity with Intel and Nvidia products. So want to ask this knowledgeable tech community if they could help me by taking my AMD build list and turn it into an Intel/Nvidia one of comparable performance. If you could keep the cost the same, that'd be great, but I do understand than Intel/Nvidia are on the more pricey side so I'm willing to consider paying a bit more.

Here is my part list:

Thank you all in advanced, I appreciate any (and all) feedback.

I've had my AMD Phenom II 955 for 5 years now, and it still runs like a champ. I don't know how long you're planning on running your cpu for year wise but I've never had any issue with AMD. Although I haven't OC'd it much, but it has been running pretty much 24/7 for 5 years.

Pcpart picker doesn't think they are because they aren't out of the box, but if I remove the top 200mm fan I can install a 240mm rad there

I really, really, really, like this one, I think  I might go for it, but I may change the case to a 760T, I don't really like the 730t

I know where you're coming from, my current rig is running a Phenom II 965 X4 Black Edition and it's worked without a hitch for a while, this is more of just a precautionary measure.

Is this just a gaming pc ? Are you doing any Video rendering/editing etc ?

What is your budget ?

Also what resolution monitor do you have/want ?

Mainly gaming, and some extremely light editing, I'd like to keep my budget up to about 1650$ maximum and I'm working on a 27" 1080p 60hz Ips monitor.

Seeing as you are going to do a bit of editing, you could switch out the i5-4670K for a i7-4790K its clocked at 4.0GHz but it's an extra $100.

The 760T is a nice case but I think it would look better in something other than white (p.s. I hate anything like a computer case in white. )

I changed the CPU in the build for an i7 and also changed the Gigabyte GTX 770 to an Asus GTX 770.

If you are only doing 'light' editing then the i5 will be fine imo.

The 850W psu allows for a 2nd gpu. You can drop down to a 550W/650W if you don't intend on going crossfire. Something like the Rosewill Capstone M 550W/650W would be a good choice.

You would need to add your fans and other bits into the spec.
