Reading that hurt my brain.

That said, Be Quiet's Silent Wings 2 (120mm) and Akasa's Apache (120mm, aka Rosewill Hyperborea in North America) are the quietest quality fans I know of.

Noctua NF-F12's

Silverstone AP121 / AP123

Cougar Vortex PWM

Rosewill Hyperborea

Noiseblocker Eloop B12-3 / B12-P

A fan controller is usually placed in the 5.25 or 3.5 inch front bay. I usually put them backwards so i dont have anything sticking from the front of the case and set it up while the case is open. But as your case does not have front bays they can be fastened anywhere. Like the hdd bays.

How come you can write the perfect title but struggle to write threads?

Run the at 7v using a reducer cable.

Just remember you'll make the front quieter but the other fans will make it sound noisier.

On top of that if your like me, you'll then start complaining after a week because you think it's noisy again

So you run them at lower than 1400 RPM. A fan controller would be okay, but you the H440 doesn't have 5.25" bays. Noctua's are very loud at 12V. You're best bet would getting Noiseblocker Eloop B12-P's and using PWM control via your CPU_FAN or CPU_OPT on your motherboard to control them.

The noise levels are 'acceptable' up to 9V. Note you won't have those loud and annoying ramps when PWM controlling them.
