Low fps with GTX 770

Lately i have been getting low fps on battlefield 3 and battlefield 4 with my EVGA GTX770 ACX Cooler on low settings. I max around 85 fps on low when im supposed to max at ~150-170fps. I have tried 3 different Nvidia drivers and still no change. I did Furmark stress test and the graphics card seems to working fine comparing the scores with others.

If I was in your shoes, I'll reinstall everything first. especially BF4, display driver and windows.

BF4 is broken with the latest patch

if you can test with Unigine and get the expected results

it will just be BF3 and 4

First off, why are you playing on low? And second off, I have the Asus 770 and I get about ~70-80 on max in BF3.

in that case check your CPU and GPU temps

it may seem to be overheating troubles

i play on low because high would make me play with ~50-60fps. thats unplayable for me.

ROFL! Honestly, PC gamers are so freaking crazy about having more than 60 fps. I'm a PC gamer yes, and I'm a console gamer. I went from having a laptop playing on low with 15-25 fps if I was lucky, and now I comfortably play on max with 70-200 fps depending on the game. Never have I ever really cared about fps but I was more just about playing the game.

Being a gamer isn't about how pretty your game looks, how responsive it is, how fast it is. Do you understand what being a gamer is all about? I'll give you a hint, it might be playing the game. WHOA I know mind blowing right? I'm just sick of hearing people complain about how they can't deal with less than 60 fps in any game. It's not that hard to play with less than 60. Sure it isn't the best experience, but you're playing right? That's all that should matter. End of story.

Sorry guys, but it sickens me when gamer set standards on how they must play no if, ands, or buts. It's just stupid, just play your damn game and shut up.

You have absolutely no idea of what you are saying. The difference between 60 and 120 hz is abysmal. There is not a chance in hell i would prefer higher quality settings over max monitor refresh rate on a multiplayer FPS.

You could have a point on single player FPS like metro or bioshock inf
