Case: Fractal design R4 Mid tower
nice! Beautiful, quiet, well built.

GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 780 3GB
also nice, 290 is cheaper and just as powerful! Your choice!

CPU: Intel core i5 4690k quad core
noice!! Will last long.

Power Supply: Corsair 650 80 plus gold power supply
nice!

HD: Seagate 2TB
just an HDD, good enough.

SSD: 120 GB
maybe get 256? It is not that expensive anymore.

Mother Board: ASRock 197 Extreme6 intel LGA 1150 ATX
I like ASROCK, I know many people don't but I never had any issues with them.

CPU cooler:Corsair hydro series H90 liquid CPU cooler
That cooler is quite expensive. For almost the same price you could get an NH-D 15 or an H100i. I would take a big air-cooler.

Fans: Corsair Quiet Edition 120mm cooling fans
Should be fine, can't say too much about them

RAM: G skill Ripjaws 8 GB
Try getting the faster RAM, at least 1866. Usually doesn't make a huge price difference and in some scenarios it is nice to have. Just llok at what your mobo supports and get as fast as possible. Here it is almost no difference in price whether you get 2400 or 1600 RAM.

EDIT: Just looked at PCPartPicker Australia and I saw that the h100i is much more expensive where you live, but still the NH-D 14 is cheaper, the NHD-15 almost the same price as the H90 and they will give you very quiet performance and great overclocking headroom.

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @4.2HGhz 1.25V || Noctua NH-U12S SE2 || 16GB (2×8GB) Aegis 3000Mhz CL16 @3200Mhz ||
|| Sapphire Pulse RX 6700 10G || MSI B450i Gaming PLUS MAX Wifi
  || Kingston NV1 2TB m.2 ||  Corsair SF600 || Intertech IM 1 |||

What SSD brand are you going to buy?

Also go for R9 290 instead of 780 to save some money while maintaining equal or even a bit better gaming performance

My current rig for entertainment/gaming: i5 4570 3,2GHz; MSI B85M-E45; ZOTAC GTX760 AMP!; 8GB (2x4GB) by Kingston; Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; Corsair 200R, Corsair VS650; Dell U2312HM, Samsung DVD R/W optical drive; CM Devastator; Corsair MM400 gaming pad

Check prices on R9 290 if you dont mind having AMD card. It can be overclocked and achieve performance pretty close to 780. Also has 1gb of vram more but it runs a bit hotter.

Everything else looks pretty amazing and high end.

Here's the list! It's slightly below your budget so you can get a monitor/etc

I swapped the CPU cooler for something that's cooler *and* cheaper

Plus I have a bias towards air cooling since I have a phobia that the pump will randomly die on me one day and I'll kill my system

Source that it's cooler by a bit

290 is better value and the higher VRAM doesn't hurt either!

256GB 840 Evo is better cost/GB, your budget allows for it, and it'll give you more room to store games. (with games taking up 20-40GB nowadays)

If you wanted to improve it I'd bump it up to a 290x but those are really hot... I'd also swap out the Noctua fans with ones that aren't poop brown, maybe the grey Noctua ones that just came out!

It's a great build and gives you a bit of room to expand (though personally I'd throw a larger PSU on there, but your power consumption is only ~500W Tops at the moment)
