Battlefield 4 stuttering since last Windows Update.

adamrutter3

Hey guys,

Since last update on 14.08, the game became unplayable on one server. It feels like I am having the worst PC for this game. I checked the temps of CPU and GPU and everything seems to be perfect. I never had that problem before. I am playing Battlefield 4 on the same PC since its release. It really pissing me off when I cannot play on my fav server because of some BS going on.

Can Windows Update cause the problem? Because since last update game is stuttering as hell. I was playing Tomb Raider and Crysis 3 lately without any problems. So I don't think it is some hardware issue.

I am looking forward to your comments and thank you. ;) I appreciate all the help.

I don't think windows update would affect the performance of one game. It is probably a problem with the server you are trying to play in, or it could have something to do with your drivers.

Never had a single bluescreen on that PC, but thanks for the hint.

I think this isn't issue with the drivers but with the server.

Did you try memtest to see if RAM is OK?

no, first I want someone to explain me what mem leak is.

Because I have only speculation.

It's just that my ram usage is abnormally high, by like 2GB.

How do I recognize a memory leak?

Does RAm usage in WTM include the momery leak space?
