Xiaomi Mi4 was recently released and it looks really good both in design as in specs. Might not be the "best" in everything, but overall it seems like the best phone on the market currently. Also the 13MP camera with f1.8 aperture should be great.

IPhone 5s body

The current resolution or a slight bump to 720p

Apple A8

2gb of ram

Somehow cram a 3000mah battery

Wireless ac is optional, the current wireless stack is good enough. Maybe support for advanced LTE

Same camera or one with bigger pixels for even better low light performance

Sapphire crystal on all glass surfaces

Everything else that I missed could be the same as the 5s

A SoC with snapdragon 800+, ardeno 330+ gpu, 4,3" 720p amoled screen, a good camera, beefy battry with like 4000mah or more, no bezels and the stability and smoothness of wp8 but with the looks and functionality of android with widgets and stuff.

- Black HTC One M7 body w/ no branding

- 4.7" 720p screen

- Snapdragon 805

- 16gb internal storage w/ SD card slot

- Headphone jack on the bottom

- USB 3.0 port similar to Note 3

- Note 3 camera

- Unlocked bootloader, easy to root etc.

- largest battery possible for that shell, hopefully over 3000mAh

That's about it.

Depends on who you are. To me, a Nexus 5 with a smaller screen (perhaps 4,5"), better camera (front and back) and a removable back cover in case it should get scratched.

I'm this close to buying a Nexus 5 though.  ;)
