I don't see a big performance increase IMO either. Could be just me..

Well I was really looking forward Maxwells power saving abilities.

Look at the 750ti. It's a monster. If Maxwell follows suit, we'll actually see what looks like a generational leap in performance.

I feel like Nvidia is going to get as much out of their succeeding-Maxwell release. I could be wrong though :3

You may or may not be right, but in my head nvidia is filled with good people so maybe they'll be nice

Well this is why I want to know where it is, Because this was more of a refresh than a leap, and this is ther next major release, so im bloody keen and thats an understatement.

It has gotten old sitting around and speculations on dates when cards are coming out. I am so losing interest in expensive pc parts and dates that never come.

the power usage is good but it doesn't out perform a 660 so the performance increase isn't really that great for a new architecture

Don't lose your hope people, there's still Computex in June. :)

I don't recall Nividia launching anything during Computex in the past. Sure it's a great tech convention, but publicity is gonna be sucked in by other big corps.

Maxwell will probably drop mid-Q3 into Q4 unless it encounters problems which are unlikely this late in development. Considering it's 20nm, performance gains could be good,

but there probably won't be any GK-110 sized chips at the beginning so the boosts on the high end might not be as great. That last part was speculation on my part, so don't take it for fact.

Okiii... I mean it's great for me as well for Nvidia to launch the 800 series as soon as possible. It has been far too FUCKING LONG.

Seems like everyone ignored my post. Again, late 2014, early 2015.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-maxwell-20nm-delay,26419.html

Yeah but usually when news start with "Unconfirmed report says" means that we'll have to wait to be sure. In this case, I'll say wait till late summer or even better confirmed reports.

It has been Q3 or Q4 since I can remember. They have been saying this since forever. IT will be Q3/Q4 or WOOOOORST case Q1 2015 but I doubt that.

And the 680 was released in March 22, 2012, So I predict that the 880 has already been released..........No wait a second. The 580 was released in november 2010. Now im confused.

It has never been Q4-Q3-Q2-Q1... Nvidia hasn't say anything about their high end maxwell cards, it's all rumors. For all we know a 880 could be released in 2 weeks or Q2 2015... all rumors.

I agree that its rumor. Im just saying that the rumors were rather consistant for a long time now. Was just pointing out that when the previous version was released says nothing about what will happen in the future

Yes, you're right. All we can do is wait.
