UK Retailers Scan And Aria PC Begin Accepting Bitcoin As Payment.

So I got an email from Aria PC today, saying they will begin to accept BItcoin from Monday, and Scan Computers UK also have just begun accepting Bitcoin as posted here http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/111897-scancouk-now-accepts-bit-coins/.

Aria also have begun selling GPU array frames for people to use in mining rigs.

I'm not sure what to make of this, they might have issues with people mining coins and immediately dumping them into these retailers for more cards, but then people could just exchange the coins for money beforehand.... I don't know what their game is really.

With Russia recently banning BTC, this could help proliferate it throughout other countries.

Hopefully the price goes up noticeably because of this. :D

Pretty interesting. Bitcoin integrated businesses are surprisingly increasing each month. Actually, Yelp has a long list of businesses accepting bitcoins as payment option. Anyways, why do you think these entrepreneurs (especially online store and services) are adopting bitcoin for their daily transaction operations? Do you think they are just after the ride of bitcoin’s popularity?

I don't even have to wonder why Russia did that...

Aria PC is a joke. I registered for the forums and after confirming it via email as per usual it says "you have to be approved by a moderator please wait blah blah"

Annoying and made no sense for a tech forum but I'll live. So I just get an email saying my registration was denied and banned.. LOL Wut?!?
