I was settled on the asrock z370 extreme4 but then all of a sudden it jumped up $30 in price. Now the Asus z370 prime-a looks pretty appealing since its cheaper. Aren't both motherboards about the same when it comes to overclocking capabilities? Or should I wait for the extreme4 to go down again.

the classified k is the same price as the prime a board. I don't know the price of the FTW though, I kind of opted out of them because I do want at least 1 rgb header.

Well the Prime Z370-A has more fan headers and USB ports than the Z370 extreme4, but the ASRock board is better for overclocking.

I suggest you go with the ASRock Z370 extreme4.
