Hello Folks!

I'm looking for a good/quiet CPU cooler, that is compatible with the Venegance RAM. (the high profile one)

I currently have the EVO 212. I know it's a great cooler, but I just don't like the look of it.

Budget is 50$-70$ if needed.more.

Case is 350D, so keep in mind the height.

Thanks! :)

My Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 was inaudible when I had it, and is pretty nice looking for an air cooler of that size.

Noctua NH-D14 is a little les quiet, but slightly better performing option.

Edit: DRP2 DOES NOT FIT, sorry: http://forum.corsair.com/v2/showthread.php?p=666720

NH-D14 might, 160mm height vs 160mm clearance, honestly I wouldn't take the risk.

Size may be a problem, I'll check

I pretty sure, they both don't work with the high profile vengeance ram. correct me if I'm wrong.

It will be either very close or no

Check my edit, both the pro and non-pro do not fit, unfortunatly.

That's what I thought. My brother is using the Pro 2 and it already touches his Ripjaw Sniper ones. ^^ What are your thought on a AIO H60? Or just the Dark Rock 2?

You might want to look into a cheap AIO watercooling solution.

Such as an H60

I was looking at that one, I really like the look of it. But my guess is that the price to performance is much better on air cooling. Am I right?^^

Dark rock 2 doesn't fit either (height issues) and although. I have no experience with the H60, the pump on my H90 is nowhere near silent. But I've heard different stories. You can also just mount a Silent Wings 2 fan on your 212, or go with the Noctua NH-C14 (might have RAM issues as well).

The püroblem isn't the fan opr the loudness of the 212. I just don't like the silver look of it.:)

Yeah, I figured it might have been the fan. Then I would say go with something like the H60 or the H75, although it won't be the most quiet or best performing option. But it looks friggin nice.

you can always just take off the heat spreaders. They don't do much of anything and are just there for style.

you won't be able to see it when your heat sink covers it anyway.

yeah, but i think they're to big  for the 350D. It says so anyway.^^
