i7 6700 with 8gb of 2133mhz memory? you'll not have the best single thread in the world, I don't think 144hz for you makes much sense unless you want to go pro on cs:go

Can you be more specific to what you have? honestly speaking saving money to make a more meaningful upgrade is the best course of action, it plays fine as is today does it not?

No, if you want 144hz get a 1070 or 1080 at least. Or maybe wait for 2060

Look for a 120Hz monitor instead, then get smoe faster ram and a faster graphics card like a 1070 from eBay. Also, if your ram is single channel, get a dual channel kit.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

A 1070 is a lot better at 144 Hz, don't forget about the ram as well. It's important for those high refresh rates.
