Im looking for software preferably to help

well network is not a “software” improved thing as far as i know, i would suggest getting a, say, 25-50ft ethernet cable and just trailing it to your PC from the router.. or simply buy ome of those internet boosters that basically amplify your internet (not sure, never used one but have heard great reviews on them)

what internet plan do you have?

Charter spectrum. And my dad will not allow me to rum a cable because it is through the wall and across the entryway and living room

I realized the MSI WTFast helped with ping.  And thought there would be something else

? you could show your dad what an "Ultra-Thin Ethernet Network LAN Cable Flat" looks like and if he agrees and if the router is one room away these are a nice solution, because they could be wired from a window to another and are easy to hide, after all your internet connection would also be more reliable...

There are other alternatives besides Ethernet though they are not as good. Firstly you have power line adapters which use the electrical wiring in your home to do networking. These tend to provide a slower but stabler connection. Though this all depends on the quality of the wiring in your home and how many breakers the signal has to pass thru to get end to end.

The second alternative is Moca adapters. Seeing how you have Charter that means you house might be wired for coax. If you have coax in your room then you can use Moca adapters. These use the upper bands on the coax the cable company generally doesn't use. Moca adapters can do 400-800 Mbps half duplex. So they aint to slouch. The only issue you will have is they are expensive, as in $160 for a pair on the 400 Mbps variety moca adapters and you will need to make sure a Filter is put on the main line coming in from Charter to make sure that your moca network doesn't go out in to their network. The filter basically blocks anything above 1 Ghz from escaping your home. If you have a whole home DVR system from Charter then this filter is most likely in place because Cable co's use moca all the time to make connections between the main DVR and the satellite boxes in your home.

Im guessing you mean Dual band, if thats the case you want to use 5Ghz if your forced to use WiFi. As it has less shit that interferes with it.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

You can throw a lot of money at the problem but no solution will work better than a $10 CAT5e cable. Even if your wireless router was on top of your PC case you'll still have latency issues, it's one of the downsides to wireless.
