As of current Article 13 is being passed through the EU. This is a new law that changes the copyright system for the internet. Instead of the user being responsible for their content, the platform is. This leaves platforms like youtube, instagram, twitter, snapchat and any over social media platform vulnerable to a lawsuit. If this law is passed there’s many content creators in the eu will be blocked from uploading content and have their content removed. This is not the social media's fault it is them trying to get round a terrible law that will affect their platform in a serious way. This law can even affect countries who are not in the EU as content creators you love will be removed as it would be to risky for platforms to upload the creators work on their site as there is no way of checking all that data. This affects millions of content creators. Please help save the internet This does affect you.
