google nexus 7 virus/malware

hi, i got a nexus 7 2013 for christmas, and have been using it to play games on since then, this morning avast has flagge up 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 and now 6 trojans,

i dont want to have to restore factory settings, but if i have to then so be it, any one got any experience of this?

I think you should factory reset, Google Play keeps a log of what apps you have installed, so it should be pretty easy to set up again.

How did you manage to download 6 trojans?, maybe it's just avast lying to get you to buy there software.

i believe avast is full of S**t.

 

i just checked ur video

avast believes System UI and Gmail is a trojan/virus

 

dont worry

to fix this simply uninstall avast

have just removed avast. and just to try i have put it back on to see if it still picks anythin up. in a recent article i read avast came back as one of the best android antivirus scanners, does anyone have any recommendations on any others??

at one point I was using the free version of Norton and that worked just fine
