600USD Budget Workstation

Guys, i need some opinions on a build im getting my cousin.

His budget is around RM2500 so around 600USD, Im from Malaysia.

I found this rig with a used GTX 1060 but should i opt for a better processor instead?

He mainly use AutoCAD and doing lots of documentation(Words, PDF, Excel)

8GB DDR4 2400MHZ
ASUS PRIME A320M-K
APACER 120GB SSD
THERMALTAKE 450W PSU
TECWARE NEXUS -M CASE
ZOTAC GTX 1060 6GB - USED

 

Definitely adding another 1TB of HDD.

Any specific B350/B450 board that u would advice to use?

both of those are solid choices for a budget workstation

If the used 1060 is one of those short ones, i wouldnt even buy it used.
You got way better AMD options even (used or not) even at used 1060 6G prices.
(where i live a 1060 6G used goes for 220-250 and a new RX 580 8GB for around 250)

Sorry was busy with studies, is the short one really is bad? 

And how much of a difference between a full size one?

If he needs a workstation for cad/solid works or ect why not just buy a used workstation.

Then just upgrade the graphics card
