Stress testing RTX 2070

I just ordered a MSI 2070 Gaming Z and it will arrive tomorrow and I just want to ask if it's a good idea to run 3DMark Firestrike for maybe 1-2 hours everyday for a week to stress test the RTX 2070 w/o overclock. I want to do this because i've seen some post on reddit (w/ photos) that their 2070s are dying/artifacting.

 

I live in Japan and I ordered through Amazon and their return policy here is within 7 days after you receive the product. I want to know as early as possible if my card is faulty so that I could return it as soon as possible because it's easier for me just ship it back to Amazon rather than contacting MSI for RMA because I can't speak Japanese.

First of all, there's always some cards that die, what you get will almost certainly be fine.

 

Second, running a stress test every will simply shorten the lifespan of the card and will just make it fail in like 6 years instead of 10, and it will still be out of warranty.

 

Third, you should always RMA directly to the manufacturer, never go through the retailer.
