180mm AIO Water Cooler??

I’m building an mAtx build in the Thermaltake Core V21 and I eventually want to put a single fan aio in my build so I can overclocking my ryzen 5 2600, and the only single fan rad that will fit in the top is 180mm. I could put a 120mm rad in the back, but I really wanted to put a 140mm fan in that spot for airflow.

V21's intended radiator position is on the top, not the front.

 

Even finding a 180mm fan is hard enough, there are no AIO that use this fan size.

Why do you want a single fan there? I have one of my builds in the v21 chassis with a cm ml240 lite in there, nice cooler BTW, very cheap for good perf.

Not really an AIO, but is pretty much the only way to go. Its a custom loop AIO style.

Are the stock fans good, or should I replace them?

They can be hit or miss unfortunately... on my main system I had to replace the stock fans as they were a little rattly. Yet on my mining rig the stock fans were fine with no rattle.... and yes had that in my bedroom too which made hardly audible sounds from across the room.

The fans I replaced, were replaced with corsair ML120 fans which are approx £20 for a box of 2.

Where the ML120’s quiet, or were they too loud. I’ve looked on the website and the noise level it states is 37 dB.

They were just a tiny bit rattly at times, not to do with loudness at all, more of a QC issue IMO, as the other sets of Cooler Master ML fans on my other ML240 lite are fine.... I replaced them with corsair ML120s as I said in my earlier post.

BTW the dB quoted is usually a range, like 20-65dB for example... and it depends a lot on obviously how fast you are running the fans and also what case you have them in, but the range should say the dB levels when bare (no noise dampening from case for example).
