Looking for a work laptop

Hello,

I'm looking for a laptop for my work, but can't seem to find the sweet, bottleneck-less spot...

A little background here: my job is quite hybrid as I'm basically my company's tech support guy, and that includes support dev (mostly web stuff). So I'm constantly running a gazillion Chrome tabs, Visual Studio, client VMs, a VoIP app, Teams and Outlook.

For the time being I'm working with my personal laptop, config is:

* Windows 10
* Core i5 7300HQ

* 6Go DDR4

* GTX 1050

* 256GB SSD

* 1TB HDD

Product page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05865279/

Now, while its CPU is clearly up to the task, my PC's RAM is always filled to the brim. So I can choose a company laptop that's under 1500$, but I don't know exactly what to get, as most laptops don't cater to the kind of use I'll have.
The reason I need a laptop in the first place is I want to be able to work from home as I have some phone hours in times it's inconvenient for me to go to the office.

What I need:

* a good proc that'll handle that stuff, but no need to go too high end

* at least 256GB of storage (SSD preferably)

* a screen that's at least 15 inches

* moar RAM than I have right now

* existing AZERTY version (I'm in France so basically PCs that are on the French market have it)

* Numpad on keyboard

* croissants because those are delicious but that's not the point

It doesn't need to be lightweight or have a high battery life: it's going to travel about once a week between my office and my home, and it's mostly going to be on a dedicated desk.

I can work with a meh screen, what I need above all is a smooth workflow.

Anybody have an idea about where I could start to search, or even better, a laptop model that fits my uses?

What about Dell XPS 15?

It's near perfect, just needs a numpad to suit me (forgot to say it in the first post so I'm editing it)... The 1050 is also overkill for my use (no 3D in my job) :/

I'll look more into Dell's offers :)

I'm kinda disappointed in myself because I didn't get something more like that as my personal laptop tho

Is low sRGB fine to you?

Any links of online stores? Any preference on weight and battery life?

It's 97Wh battery. Many QC issues, bad cooling and VRM throttling

It is, I don't need a lot of color quality tho it's appreciated. LCD could do ^^

Amazon is preferred, but as long as it works in France and is reliable any could do.

No real need for the pc to be especially light or have high battery life - it's not going to travel a lot, mostly once a week, and can stay plugged most of the time I'll use it :)

Sabre 15 is actually Clevo N850 which has mediocre cooling and OKish build quality

All with i7-8750H, add RAM by yourself if not enough:

HP Omen 15 dc - DC0022NF - low sRGB IPS, DC0009NF/DC0998N - 144Hz IPS (can go for 1050 GPU)

HP Omen 17 AN116NF/AN138NF - bulky (can go for 1050 GPU)

Lenovo Legion Y530 - optional 300 nits 72% NTSC 60/144Hz IPS

Dell G7 - low sRGB FHD IPS

Be aware of QC issues (happens in every laptop, but more specific to MSI and Asus):

MSI GE63/GE73/GP63/GP73 8RE - 120Hz TN (can go for 8RD - 1050TI model)

Asus GL504GM

Asus GL703GM/GE

Asus GL503GE - 120Hz TN
