IPS and 144Hz?

Hey guys,

 

So Black Friday is just around the corner and I´m looking for the best deals to get myself a new monitor (as of right now I´m rocking a 5 year old BenQ FullHD, 60Hz monitor). On Amazon I found a pretty neat LG Monitor but sadly I missed the opportunity to buy it and they went out of stock and now it´s not on sale anymore.

I´m looking for monitors just like that, I like the 21:9 aspect ratio and also the 34 inches would be very nice, as it would help a lot with my video editing. Do you guys know what monitors might get on sale next with these kind of specs?

3440x1440 UW monitors have a max refresh rate of 100Hz, and 34" 2560x1080 UW monitors have crap pixel density IMO, you're better off with a 29". But I have an Asus MX34VQ. A bit more budget friendly, but still a great monitor.

So you wouldn´t buy a 2560x1080 34 inch monitog because of the pixel density? Is it really that crappy?

Not crappy, but some people don;'t like being able to see the pixels.  I would go 29" for 1080p and 34/35/38" at 1440p+, personally.

 

The 3440x1440 UW's go up to 120 actually.  Tho that's not a huge deal for your use case at all.
