system BSODs when trying to use webcam

My PC has been BSODing when I tried to turn on my webcam, whether it be on a webcam test or on Skype. I recently bought it, and all I've got to say is that I think a file has been corrupted or something. It's a Windows authorised file, but I'm nost sure what to do.

 

I've tried reinstaling and deleting it, but when I reinstall it, the same problem arises. 

Without the drivers, it looks really blurry and pixelated, so blurry all you see is different coloured blobs. 

 

The problem has something t odo with

system_service_exception snp2uvc.sys

 

What's happening and how can I fix this?

Are you getting the correct drivers, some might be outdated. Do you know the make and model?

Seems like a common problem with that webcam. People seem to be doing complete re installs of everything including the drivers and skype itself but it looks like you have already tried.

People say a clean install of everything will work. I have my doubts though. Check your motherboard drivers as well if you haven't
