i had posted on the forums once before asking for help deciding on a desktop build and after i had finished , i got the news that i was nominated for a scholarship that will take me outside the country for an extended period , so i went back to square one on deciding on whether i should get a desktop for gaming and then get a laptop for when i leave , or if  i should get a gaming laptop , i am leaning more towards the later option since i want have to pay for 2 systems , so can anyone help me , and if u can suggest what is the best system i should get my budget is up  to 2500$ ,i read the guide but would like for further opinions since i am kinda of an indecisive person

The real question is what tasks does that laptop need to do? I use a desktop and cheap laptop but my laptop doesn't do much work.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Since you need a laptop to do a beefy job on the go, I recommend a nice expensive one like a Dell XPS

If you don't need gaming on the go (only game in dorm), you might want to consider desktop+laptop (regular/Ultrabook) or eGPU

I see.

May I know your usage? Any preference on weight and battery life? Any other special requirements? Any links of online stores?
