Yea, the MSI has some buggy Bios so generally dont recommend them.

So basically I know as much as from the beginning. I'll go with an Asus board. No clue about the CPU though. Why should the supported amount of PCIe lanes be irrelevant? How many lanes are needed for a GPU?
