Could my PC handle 1440p 144hz?

You have more than enough horsepower for 1440p.

 

Most stuff you will get +100fps on medium or high settings.

 

Any monitor with G-Sync. If it were me, I would go ultra widescreen. (pricey though)

Yep, that's the best option. Can actually end up running cooler under full load that way, since you force it to pull less voltage.

I do like widescreen but I think its a little out of my price range lol
