So, I have a toshiba stallite L-50 B 28J laptop and I was happy with it games running smoothly and stuff but its hdd just sucked so much(opening windows in 2 mins smh) so I had to change it with an ssd.
after installing drivers, etc. I opened up my game and played it and the game that almost never has fps drops started to have constant fps drops. so I done a little research and find out that there is a settings in amd for that where you pick high performance for the apps you want so computer switches the amd graphics card when game is opened. BUT IT DOESNT GAME STILL LAGS. how do I do this ?

(I also tried to install amd drivers (in toshiba's official website) for windows8 (there was nothing for windows 10)) so now Im going to use windows 8.1 on laptop but I dont think this will end everything

Which game? Specify. And your full specs would be helpful. Maybe you accidentally damaged ram stick or something? Maybe the game requires more ram, and you damage a stick, I'm assuming your laptop has 2 sticks, and maybe now it does not have enough ram to function properly.  Your writing style is very incoherent, I don't fully understand what you are talking about when you say "using second graphics card".

Your laptop is fairly old, it would be helpful to know the game you are trying to play. BTW you said the game "would almost never have fps drops", so it did have drops sometimes? I think you might not installed some drivers and now it's acting up.
