Updating radeon r4 help

Hi this is my first post I know that the laptop I'm using is never near a gaming laptop but I wanted to update my graphics card driver but when I do the mouse cursor and display is lags e very couple of seconds here is the spec 

 

Hp hq-tre 71004

Radeon R4 Graphics

Radeon APU A6-6310

 

I've tried AMD auto detect driver app and it finds the friver and updates it to version 18.11.1 but just seem to have the lag problem and don't know where to try another driver

 

when I revert back to the old driver (from 2015) it works fine again 

 

any help please

Maybe your r4 new driver is corrupted?? I have two Radeon GPUs but i never had this ptoblem

Thanks I'll look at uninstalling it and re download what's the best way to uninstall the driver all together and starting fresh

same problem. go to windows device manager then update drivers. this will bring you back to direct x 11 but the computer will work faster
