I have an lga 775 motherboard from gigabyte ga-g41m-combo with pentium e5300 and Nvidia GeForce 210 graphics card. Recently I've been facing random freezing of system and have to restart get it working. The freezing occurs in bios, while os loads while loading desktop and so on. I tried to change outlets to see if there is voltage drope but it is still same. So i removed graphcis card and used on board graphics and have got wierd artifacts on the monitor. Any help or suggestions really welcomed.

Is my motherboard useless????

If both - external and internal graphics card gives the same result - then you're probably right. Your motherboard is dead. It may be also ram, but I guess it's motherboard.

ohk any ideas what is causing it, can cpu be the culprit????
