So I've been playing BLACK ops 4 recently with a Windforce 1080 and 8600k with 8gb of 2133mhz of ram and I can get around 120fps but sometimes have huge stutters down to 20fps. I'm thinking it's the ram but it never goes above 85% usage and theres always around 2000mb on standby

There's some pretty serious memory leak issues with it, but honestly I'd say your RAM is either too little (it seriously requires a LOT of VRAM, and thus probably RAM to run well), or you might check the .ini file to see if it's set to use the right amount of cores (defaults to 4 cores/threads--try upping that and seeing if that helps).  I would definitely suggest getting 16gb of at least 2666MHz memory for AAA titles though, especially battle royale games.

Well that amount of usage would be an issue. Cod doesn’t use extra ram. That would be vram.

I use 8 on every game. Which is why 16 is the minimum.
