Is this normal?

Hello LTT Community, 

 

When I started Windows 7 on an old HP laptop and when I looked into the system information and I saw the following thing (see image)

The clock frequent was 6383.18 GHz according to the information page. Is this normal?

The cpu clock speed is supposed to be 1.6ghz so no that's not normal

 

But maybe in your language, it is calculated like that for some odd reason. Does it say the same thing in English?

Even in English it shows the same thing, but I don't really mind. It is nice to show people , I posted it just to show it to people

Same thing used to happen with my i5 3570K on Windows 10. Would say it was going over 5 Ghz. Windows just having a stroke. Nothing to worry about. LOL.
