Still designing this system trying to figure out how to get a 2nd hole in the loop so there is air to drain the system.

Parts so far

View 71  case

EK supremacy sTR4 (the big rev2 version)

EK 420mm CE radiator (would like at the front of the case)

EK D5 PWM XRES 140  (maybe I can just get the multi port top?  I'm fine if I just have to remove all the glass and turn the system upside down to drain).

6x EK compression fittings

Soft tubing

Depends on the layout and parts. I tend to use the port on the res to let air in. Then build the loop on a circle and drain at the lowest part. Don’t need a multi port top as the pump has two ports and the res has a fill port.

Put the rad ports at the bottom. Prolly just end up tilting the case to empty it all.

That's what I ended up playing with the bitspower fittings at Microcenter and came up with something similar to what they had on display (for a whole $50).  A valve to cut it off and a cap.  When I want to drain I take the cap off and screw a barb with tubing on and release the valve (with the fill port cap open).

I personally prefer something out of the way using T-splitters, ball valves, and some rotary fittings.
