How would it impact performance if one were to mix together multiple brands of thermal paste, and then apply it to their CPU?

There really isn't much of a point to do that. They all perform about the same, within a degree or two.

It would make a new paste that's not as good as the best paste in the mix.

 

For example I have a paste that can achieve 32 degrees, 1 that achieves 35 degrees and one that achieves 40 degrees, the combined paste will always achieve a worse temp than the 32 degree paste.

 

Also you need such a small amount you'd struggle to get even smaller amounts out to mix together to the right amount.

 

Why would you want to do this is the real question?

i struggle to see how you need so much thermal paste? you need a rice sized pea on a CPU to cover it. a little more on a GPU.

Probably make it worse than needed. More air bubles than what you would get directly from tube.
