why are you suggesting a water cooling for newbies?

And god damned that noctua is soo expensive, 100 bucks for fans?

Extra fans should be purchased after you build the system.

The case should be equipped with enough fans already.

Add a 2tb (or bigger) and you're done...

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Stop linking lists that are $400 more than op's

On that subject, what is your budget and do you need peripherals?

Yeah at $140 when you can get one for free.

Better use that to upgrade from 1060 to 1080.

Yah I need peripherals no budget. Just make it reasonable and forsure not dropping $1000 on a video card

Don't buy 60 dollars worth of fans you don't need. It appears that for you use case, you don't need an i7. Save some money. Don't bother with that SSD, the 860 I listed will be fine for you. m.2 has a negligible speed difference. I gave you a better cooler. 550 watt PSU will be fine.

Here is an Intel build:

Here is a Ryzen build if you want to save some money and still be within spitting distance regarding performance:

Thanks a lot man greatly noted, I have made the changes but since the i9 is coming out Imma just stick with the i7 if it drops in price. If not I’ll goto i5 and should I just use the two fans in the case then and not buy any additional

Why would you plan a completely different build if you are going to get the i9 eventually?

Also heres a build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/4rZwpG

Here's one with peripherals: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/frd9Bb

Peripherals are up to you, do you know what kind of keyboard/mouse and monitor you'd like?

He doesn't mean to get the i9. He wants to use it as leverage to get a better price on an i7 if possible.
