As far as I know right now, Acer's been pretty good to me :). I bought the H236HLbid on boxing day for 139 and it's beautiful. Much better than my previous TN.

I haven't had a wide variety of experience with Acer displays, but I do have a friend with one (he bought it a year ago) who moans about how much better my Asus TN monitors look and that he hates his monitor lol. Mine aren't fancy either they were all $150-190 over the last 4 years (I have 4 now). Hell, they're selling for $135 now. :D

To be fair though, the monitor in this sale is IPS, so I'm pretty sure it's fine. If at all, a quick trip to the store will give a first hand experience on how it looks.
