Destiny 2 Help

So i just created an account to get this 'AWESOME' game but i found out that i needed to use sms protect to get it. So i used my phone number,but my question is...can i remove sms protect and still have access to Destiny 2 as ive already got my own account and this account was so that my bro can play with me?

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe, but why would you want to? It's not intrusive or anything, there is no spam email or something like that, and once you set it up it's "gone" until you need it.

Sms makes it so you need to use a code that was sent to your cell to sign in.

But if OP signs in once, he doesn't have to sign in again until he logs himself out or something...

 

 

OP can try it, worst case scenario he'd have to re-enable it.

can i use the same phone number on two accounts at once?

Nope you cannot. They did this for top 500 for overwatch as a way to limit people to one account being able to obtain it. It used to be where really good players would have like 10 account in top 500.

basically since they don't really do ranking and its mainly a pve grinding game, or grinding game in general for items they probably just did this to limit multiple accounts being made and resold on grey market

 

I doubt you will be able to turn it off... but after the 18th goes by you will probably be able to disconnect that option as the free game offer will expire
