Upgrading GPU.

Hello, my specs are:

CPU: i5-6500

GPU: AMD Radeon R9 380

Ram: 16 GB 2133MHz

Motherboard: Asus Z170 AR

Power suply: 500W

I have had this setup for quite a while now and I have wanted to upgrade it for about a year but graphic card prices have been really high. They have dropped to about normal levels now and I think that this is the right time for an upgrade.

I have done a bit of research and I want to get a 1070 TI, but I don't know if the 1070 TI will be an overkill for the i5-6500. Can I get some help on what to upgrade to?

Ah 1070 or 1070 ti should be nice upgrade for spec that you have posted.

What PSU is it? I think a 1070 Ti is probably just at the top end of the 6500's range, so I'd upgrade to a 6700K if possible as well.

A nice 1070 from evga will do you good. Every Wednesday evga has sales so if you're willing to camp out you might be able to snag one for a good price.
