Blue Snowball sounds muffled after win 10 update

I wasn't sure where to put this but ive been having issues with my blue snowball ice microphone sounding muffled on my recently updated win 10 pc. The mic works fine on my laptop but doesn't on my desktop which used to be win 8 which leads me to believe its a drivers issue

would any of you be able to help me please

Have you updated its audio driver from device manager?
