What cooler are you using? If you're using the stock cooler and its hitting 75c at 100% usage thats not that bad for that chip. My old 4790k (overclocked) on water cooling hit upwards of 80c without an issue. 95c is the absolute maximum for that chip if I recall correctly.

I have the K one with an evo 212 air cooler on it(not really sure but something like that) and on full continuous load it is pretty normal to go over 80 to 90 for me.

If its 75 on idle, thats not good.

I am here to learn, please correct me if im wrong or you see me putting bs on your screen!

Might be completely wrong but i think i reat somewhere that intel chips dont go over 95. Above 95 will turn off the pc automatically to keep the cpu from burning lets say.

I see this is the case on my 8700K. Core 0 doesnt go above 94c.

My Cpu is going above 75 frequently is this bad for this cpu. My Pc just restarted for the first time in a long while, and I don't know if has anything to do with those temps.

if you've never done it, it might be a good idea to redo the thermal paste.

Hitting 75c under heavy load isn't great but its not that bad either. in the 80's I would be worried. However if your hitting 75c under light loads, like watching a youtube video - then there is a cooling problem.

It's not stock but its a cheapish Artic fan. 75 is what it hits under load

I have done the thermal paste a few times, its only under heavy load it hits between 70-75

I'd say you're ok then, those seem like pretty normal temps. You might want to consider getting a better cooler, but its not necessary.

Depends whats showing that temp. If its something like mobo software that tends to read low, that is bad. If not you could be fine.

What are your idle temps? 75c under load is fine with a cheap cooler but if you're pushing over 50c on idle that wouldn't be very good. With a cheap cooler I would shoot for 35c-40c on idle (ballpark).

Normal temps. You should start to look for issues if it goes over 85C under normal usage. Or over 90-95C under stress testing. If you want lower temps, you get better cooler or set manual voltages.
