Hello fine people,

I'v been searching around for where I can get an 900D in Australia. It seems that nowhere in Australia will have this case until late May- Early June.

What do you guys think of having a 900D shipped from America to Australia.

I understand that their might be taxes added to the cost, as well do you think that it will get damaged in transit, even if I get express shipping?22894910.jpg

I think it will be fine but there is always a risk i guess, George from Corsair has been updating people in a thread on OCN and did mention that they have gone to quite a few lengths to ensure the packaging is sufficient, he mentioned they do tests to make sure of this not happening. I've just decided to wait as I've been guaranteed one out of the first shipment Altech computers receive due to ordering about 6 weeks ago now and already have a decent enough case to keep me going. He did also mention that the shipping dates Amazon had up at one stage were incorrect and that they probably wont have stock until the start of May at the earliest, I'm not sure if amazon have changed their shipping date though since this was mentioned.

+1 but I've spoken to them before and the reason why Aus hasn't gotten the 900D yet is because corsair (and some other companies) will actually give all of their first lot of stock to America and Europe.

The first step to insanity is believing in your sanity.

Its not the fact that they are giving them to Europe and America first because they aren't at all. George from Corsair has said that the first people to order will be the first to receive so the distributors and shops that ordered first will be the first to get. In Australia it was Altech computers who ordered first, they are a distributor and a retailer. My local PC store is ordering mine from there.

Heres the thread on OCN where George has been keeping everyone updated.
