Gpu upgrade

So my rig has an i7-4790k, 16gb of ram, and a gtx750ti i would like to upgrade and between an GTX 1080 and an RTX 2070 what is the best option?

The cheapest GTX 1080 in my country is about 500 Euro and the cheapest RTX 2070 is about 530 Euro.

I would pick the 1080, the 2070 would probably bottleneck your CPU, (exact reason why I am upgrading tomorrow)

what about 1070ti? Out of the two (1080 and 2070) I'd get the 2070 since 30EUR for RTX features isnt bad, but I still care about how much cheaper the a bit slower 1070ti is

 

count the Vega 56 in if your monitor supports Freesync, otherwise never mind

The 2070 is just 5% faster, give or take, since the price difference is quite small, I would go with the 2070, but if you want to save money, you can buy the 1080 and don't need to feel any remorse for it, I don't think the 2070 will be capable of much with the RTX features.
