RX580 insane GPU utilization volatility!

I have sapphire nitro+ rx580 SE, clocked at 1460mhz, my gpu usage is extremely volatile even on fast and extreme gaming, which is causing extrme fps drops as well on all games

 

This is my first AMD card and now i know why its way behind nvidia. Crappy crads to be honest.

Entire PC specs?  Games you are playing?  More info please - The RX 580 is better than a GTX 1060 (or super similar in performance but imho better because the option for more VRAM)

I think the real value of the 580 vs the 1060 is the Freesync - not the extra VRAM. That card will never need that much VRAM. It's performance isn't good enough to ever need a full 8GB, and I doubt it ever will be. I obviously can't see the future, but this is my guess. They're both really good options, in my opinion.

1060 and 580 are basically equal in performance.

What are your full specs? Driver version?
