Okay so as to my confusion my ram is getting cached rather fast after a reboot.

(Screenshot of the task manager)

Now it does say that all my cached ram is available, but i specifically feel performance issues in several programs, most notably CSGO which is weird to me.

If i would go into CSGO while my ram is like in the screenshot it would feel choppy and laggy even tho i have a low ping (max 30) and well above 200fps at all times.

However if i restart my computer so that cached ram is empty it all behaves smoothly and fine.

I dont know what is cached in all that ram, since i have been on the computer for maybe an hour, playing wreckfest and seen maybe 4 youtube videos in that time..

This issue have been persistent for a long time, but i thought id try and make a post here to see if anyone can tell me why this happens.

(My ram gets cached no matter what i do, i doesnt only happen with wreckfest, if i turn on my computer and just leave it the ram still gets cached)

System specs in screenshot should it matter

Its caching the disk. It should only make it faster. This is very unlikely to be your isssue here

Thats how it should work, no reason to have free ram

THe ram caching and the issues in csgo are probably unrealeated. Id try a reinstall if you haven't already, A lot of things can cause those csgo issues.

Apparently this is an issue where the standby memory (the "Cached" memory) isn't released for some reason. Microsoft has a tool you can use to not only force release it, but see if there's a root-cause problem:
